With her entrepreneurial flair, complete dedication and Mauritian passion, Virginie has managed, developed and grown SPICE Consulting, a unique, personalised, professional organisation where passion, enthusiasm and innovation stand at the core of the business.

Virginie adds flavour to the team bringing advanced understanding of skills development and related training, 10 years of high level recruitment experience of which 3 of those years were based in London (UK). She has won a number of incentive competitions, run successful projects and sat on various industry committees. Virginie also won the Standard Bank 'Living and Loving' Mompreneur of the Year 2008 Competition.
Virginie is also a qualified Stress Therapist, a Professional
Coach and recently completed Advanced Behaviour Modelling (otherwise known as
NLP) adding to the SPICE recruitment techniques. She was strongly involved with KZNonSource (Call Centre
Committee) and a member of COMENSA (Coaching and Mentoring Association of South
Africa) Virginie is about achievement and success, SPICE is her vehicle!
Having pursued a 13-year career Corporate HR/HRD
Management, Catherine stepped into the SETA landscape in 1999 to represent the
Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Sector in the creation of the Chemical SETA
(CHIETA). She has since served as Chairman of the Chemical Industries Standards
Generating Body and represents FMCG on CHIETA’s 5th Chamber. She works across
SETAs and the South African Qualifications Authority to offer a wide range of
services that include unit standards and qualifications design; skills
profiling, auditing and planning; design, implementation and evaluation of
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) initiatives; design and evaluation of
Quality Management Systems, including Assessment and Moderation Systems; design
and evaluation of curriculum; evaluation of learning materials; accreditation of
Training Providers; coordination and implementation of Learning Programmes,
including Learnerships; training of Assessors, Moderators, Facilitators and
Mentors. Catherine is a Life and Business Coach, and believes that
Coaching and Mentorship are key to successful selection, development and
retention of talent at all levels of organizations. She deals with a variety of
clients, from Blue Chip multinationals to emerging businesses, and has a passion
for the development of entrepreneurs as a means of creating and sustaining
wealth in South Africa. Her formal qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree
in Psychology and Sociology and a Diploma in Coaching. She is a registered
Assessor and Moderator with the ETDP SETA, and is a member of the Chartered
Institute of People Development (CIPD), UK, and the Coaching and Mentoring
Association of South Africa (COMENSA)Knowledgeable, Professional, Reputable.
Bringing flavour to the SPICE team; Mildred and Zanele (Victoria) Sangweni form an integral part of our company. Due to their willing attitude, contagious laughs and unconditional support; from reception duties to occasional administration, office cleaning and beverage management, SPICE is able to function effectively.
